George V. Eckhardt

George Vincent Eckhardt, 86, of Beaver Falls passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at the Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.

He was born November 26, 1934, in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late William and Louise (Flaherty) Eckhardt.  He was a very active, longtime member of St Monica’s Parish, Chippewa, where he served as an usher.  One of the original Adorer’s at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, as well as a member of St. Vincent DePaul.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jean Cardosi Eckhardt, and her family, brothers, James (Mary) Eckhardt, Brother Richard Eckhardt C.S.C., sister-in-law, Betty Ann Eckhardt, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by, his first wife, Marie Borsani Eckhardt, brothers, William and Thomas Eckhardt, sisters, Beatrice and Ruth Eckhardt.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 24, at 10am, in St Monica Roman Catholic Parish, with Father Kim Schreck officiating.

Inurnment will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
