George L Hall Sr.

George L Hall Sr., of North Sewickley, born on April 03, 1948 passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones after a long and honorable battle with illness.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George K and Virginia Hall, as well as his brothers Ronald and Gary Hall.

George’s legacy of love will be survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Cheryl Hall; his sons, George L. Hall Jr (Kris) and Ryan Lee Hall (Carmen); and his nine grandchildren, Mandy, Andrew, Kristin, Jess, Jenna, Elena, Tyler, Izzy, and Jake Hall.

George was a hard-working and kind-hearted man, doing whatever it took to make the people he loved feel at home. Family was the center of his world, and he dedicated his life wholeheartedly to those he cherished. Together, George and his wife provided significant aid to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through their “Saddle Up” fundraiser. George also dedicated much of his life to his passion for his farmwork, having raised many animals over the years. Since childhood, he found purpose and joy in raising horses, a commitment he carried with pride throughout his 78 years.

Per the family’s wishes, services will be private. George will be laid to rest at the Beaver Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a charity near and dear to George’s heart.
