Grant Smith, 92, of Beaver Falls, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born February 4, 1922 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Grant Sr. and Bertha (Parks) Smith. Grant was a former member of the Beaver Falls School Board, NAACP, and the Second Baptist Church, Beaver Falls. He served in the United States Army during World War II and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith David Smith; his stepmother, Elizabeth Smith; a brother, Stanton, and three sisters, Belle Greer, Vivian Watkins and Eloise Dudley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eunice A. (Parrish) Smith, Brighton Twp.; a son, Robert Smith, Beaver Falls; two grandchildren, Nakia L. Smith and Leah L. Evans-Smith; a great-grandson, Zyere Price, and a great-granddaughter, Nazae Price.
Per Robert's wishes, there will be no services.
