Gregg Eugene 'Zeb' Kisic

Formerly of New Brighton

Gregg Eugene "Zeb" Kisic, 52, of Highspire, PA, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Hershey Medical Center of injuries sustained as a victim of an accident on June 3, 2012.

Born June 22, 1960, in New Brighton, he was a son of Eugene and Nancy (Bucklen) Kisic of New Brighton. He was a 1978 graduate of New Brighton High School and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 143. Gregg was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rescue Hose Co., the Anglers and Hunters Club, all of Middletown, and the American Legion Post 1687 of Hummelstown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycling and his daily Bible devotions. His great sense of humor was enjoyed by everyone.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Deborah M. Wierzbic Kisic; his son, Dylan Eugene Kisic, at home; two sisters, Leigh and her husband Roger Eppley, of Patterson Twp., and Wendy and her husband Vincent Farelli, New Brighton; a brother, Brian and his wife Coleen Kisic, New Brighton; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Brittany and Zachary Farelli, Nicholas and Jacob Kisic, and Isabella Aquino, all of New Brighton; his maternal grandmother, Margaret E. Bucklen, New Brighton; uncle, Marco (Cynthia) Bucklen of Irving, Texas; stepsons, Ronald A. Wierzbic, Virginia Beach, VA, and David J. Sr. and his wife Brittany Wierzbic, Harrisburg; step-grandson, David J. Wierzbic Jr., and Gregg's loyal dog, Cassie.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert E. Bucklen; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ann Kisic, and a niece, Jenna Eppley Clarke and her infant son.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. On Monday, July 2, 2012, a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Brighton, with the Rev. William B. Henry Jr. officiating, and the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert of St. Peter's, and cousin, Rev. Father Tom Kredel of Holy Family co-officiating.

Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
