Gregory "Cool Breeze" L. Cardosi

Gregory “Cool Breeze” L Cardosi of Beaver Falls passed away Thursday, January 27 at Heritage Valley, Beaver lovingly surrounded by his family.

Born October 4, 1954, in New Brighton son of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Swasta) Cardosi, Greg retired in 2016 hoping to enjoy the good life and revisit his love for model building and photography.  He was a train enthusiast who built elaborate model train layouts and could reel off the train routes in the county quite impressively.  He had a soft smile, a penchant for chocolate ice cream, old western movies, and on occasion, a good Cuban cigar.

Unfortunately, in 2018 Greg was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. He fought the good fight for the past 4+ years.  He wasn’t able to speak the last few months, and we’re certain he wanted us to know life is short, live it now, and live it with all your strength and passion.  Don’t keep it in reserve for a day you might not have.

In addition to his parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, Greg was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Scott, and cousins Debbie and Mark. Surviving is his loving wife Tammy, mother-in-law Shirley, sisters Donna (Jim) , Nancy, Janet (Brent) and brother Robbie (Kelley), sister-in-law Janet and was uncle to Chad, Leslianne (Randy), Joshua, Vincent (Jodi), Jessica, Tyler, Samuel, Ryan, Sydney, Cody & Andrew.

There will no public visitation, friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am Monday January 31, 2022, at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Catholic Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.

Family interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
