Harold D. “Don” Shuler Jr., 77, went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2025, in Cranberry, PA. Born in New Brighton, PA, on February 01, 1948, he was the son of the late Velma (Shoaff) and Harold D. Shuler Sr.
Don worked as a crane man for Republic Steel, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring. Following his time at the mill, he also worked for Frye Transportation. He was known for his strong work ethic and his friendly nature.
In his free time, Don enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and could often be found sharing stories or laughs with his family and friends. In addition, Don loved going to the casino.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Shuler, daughter, Dawn Lynn (Michael) Miller, son, Donald Allen (Monica) Shuler, step-son, Jack Bailes, step-daughters, Tammi (Michael) Harris, Lori Bailes, sisters, Cheryl (Joe) Guzzo, sister-in-law, Judy Deible, grandchildren, Danielle Wallace, Caley (Matt) Kemerer, Zachary (Alyssa) Shuler, Bryson Miller, Vance (Lexi) Shuler, Caleb Shuler, step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Harris, Jason Gordon, Evan Gordon, Braedyn Bailes, former wife Donna Shuler, numerous great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Roberts, sister-in-law’s, Ruth Welsh, Dolores Kelly, and brother-in-law, Richard Hult.
Friends and family are welcomed at J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave New Brighton, PA, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 2-6 P.M. Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday, October 31, 2025, from 10 A.M. until the time of services at 11 A.M. Chaplain Gary Brown officiating.
Private interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery.
