Heather Schneider Proya, 42, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly Monday June 22, 2015 at her home after an extended illness.
Born February 10, 1973 in New Brighton a daughter of Darnice (Atkinson) Albright, New Brighton and William “Bil” (Robin) Schneider Jr., Darlington. Heather had worked as a computer technician for Michael Baker Engineers and Penn Pavilion of New Brighton. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, New Brighton.
Surviving in addition to her parents two step sons Anthony Tonda, Cleveland, OH, Joshua Proya, West Mayfield, one son Austin Proya and one daughter Maryssa Proya, both at home, paternal grandfather William (Olga) Schneider Sr., Raccoon Twp., a sister Jamie Majzlik, New Brighton, two brothers Erik (Heather) DeCampli, Monaca, William “BJ” (Angela) Schneider III, Gilbert, AZ, step brother Chris Albright and step sister Robin Albright, FL, special aunt Darcell Mohrbacher, New Brighton, special cousins Shawn Hall, Travis (Chelsey) Mohrbacher, Corinne Hall, nephew Kevin Witt, numerous more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents James and Mary Atkinson, her aunt Kathryn Nelson, a cousin Marci Fox and her step father Ike Albright.
There will be no viewing.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 6:00pm in the Church of the Nazarene, 417 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. Donald W. MacNeil officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made in her name to the Church of the Nazrene, 417 Penn Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.
