Helen (Bellan) Grahek

Helen (Bellan) Grahek, 86, of Vanport, formerly of New Brighton, went to be with Jesus and his Blessed Mother, Tuesday February 23, 2016 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born May 16, 1929 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Mark and Frances (Zimmerman) Bellan. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Beaver, a member of T.O.P.S. and was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Grahek Sr., May 25, 1997, one son-in-law John Wilson, February 24, 2007 and her nine siblings.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law Roberta Wilson, New Brighton, Phyllis and Thomas Heckman, Monaca, one son and daughter-in-law Philip Jr. and Rose Grahek, New Brighton, six grandchildren Lisa (Nathan) Hutchinson, Michelle (Mike) Botelho, Sara Heckman, Sam, Zachary and Jesse Grahek, five greatgrandchildren Keaton, Gavin, Troy, Lucius and Helena, several nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayer will be held Friday at 10:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Beaver, with Rev. Fr. Michael Ruffalo officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to the Watson Institute, 301 Camp Meeting Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143.
