Hilda A. (Harris) Barrett, 79, of Hopewell Twp., passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2016, in her home.
Born August 6, 1936, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Robinson) Harris, She had worked many years at the Marriott Hotel of Robinson in the housekeeping department. A devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed The Price Is Right, Judge Judy and going to the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Barrett, in 1980; a son, Mark Anthony Barrett, in 2014, and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are four daughters, Donna (Daniel) Watford, Winterville, NC; Sandra Barrett, Richmond, VA; Vicki Barrett, New Brighton, and Linda Barrett Bell, Rochester; one son, Michael (Veronica) Barrett, Erie; six grandchildren, Ashley Blocker, Lawon Barrett, Tyne Barrett, Cameron Barrett, Brandon Barrett and Dahnivan Barrett; two great-grandchildren, Amari and Camdon; one brother, Harold M. Harris and his wife Roberta, Casa Grande, AZ, and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 13, 2016, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bobby Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
