Ida M. Mancini, 86, of Beaver Falls, passed away Saturday December 16, 2017 in the Franciscan Manor, Patterson Township.

Born May 29, 1931 to the late Reverend Frank and Rose (Calabria) DeChellis, she was married to Robert Mancini for 56 years prior to his passing in 2008.  She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, The Garfield Business Institute and the Community College of Beaver County.

She retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation where she worked for more than three decades.  She was lifetime of the New Brighton Christian Assembly Church where she played the piano and then was the organist for many years.

She was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren in all of their activities.  She rarely missed a game, event, or performance until her health prevented her from attending.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Judge Richard and Jodi Mancini, Patterson, and Robert and Lisa Mancini, Auburn, Maine; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Levi, Caleb, Samuel, Timothy, Evan and Ganan, her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Richard Lasse, her brother and sister-in-law Frank and Rosalie DeChellis, her sisters-in-law, Emma DeChellis, Dena Frano, and Norma and Joseph Lorusso, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Edward DeChellis.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm in the New Brighton Christian Assembly Church, 1810 Valley Ave, New Brighton.  She will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service at 11am, with Reverend Samuel DeMarco officiating.

Private interment will follow in the Beaver Falls Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend our thanks to Dr. Patrick and Rose Sturm, Dr. Carolyn Engle, Dr. Timothy Jackson, and the staffs at Villa St. Joseph’s and Franciscan Manor and personal caregiver Jean Pervak.

In lieu of flowers the family desires that donations be made in Ida’s name to New Brighton Christian Assembly, 1810 Valley Ave New Brighton, PA 15066.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J & J Spratt Funeral Home, Inc.
