Jack Balis Norris Sr., 70, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday December 9, 2017 at the VA Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born August 17, 1947 in N.B., a son of the late Lloyd F. and Leona (Winterburn) Norris.
Jack was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and retired from the former Pittsburgh Tube. Jack was a strong, brave, and humble man. He loved his family, God, dogs, and country.
Surviving are his loving wife, Algina M. (Helgeson) Norris; Daughters Angela (Wayne) Freeze, Kristina (Steve) Schilling, Jacqueline (Mark) Graleski, Sara (Stephen) Lisica, Courtney (Ben) Nichols, Alexis (Rob) Sinclair; sons Jack Norris Jr.(Robin), Justin (Jessica) Norris, Jason Norris, Brad Davis; 25 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Siblings Janet Halleman, Alan Norris, Susan Milliron, David (Kim) Norris, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton. On Wednesday 9:00am, at the CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 417 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, funeral service at 10:00am, with the Rev. Donald W. Macneil Officiating.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
