James A. 'JD' DeMaria
James A. "JD" DeMaria, 58, of Fallston, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
Born March 27, 1955, in Beaver Falls, a son of John A. and Marie (Saibena) DeMaria of Fallston, he worked as a crew scheduler for U.S. Airways for 25 years and had worked a number of years at the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Vanport. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, John A. DeMaria, Gaithersburg, MD, and Jeff A. DeMaria; two nieces Megan and Jenny DeMaria, and one nephew, Danny DeMaria, all of Charlotte, NC, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1:30 p.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.
