James "Rock" Thomas

James E. “Rock” Thomas, 59, of Brighton Twp., formerly of New Brighton, passed away March 26,2022 at Brighton Wellness & Rehabilitation.

Born March 16,1963 in New Brighton a son of Nathaniel Thomas Sr of Beaver Falls and the late Mary (Freeman) Thomas. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother, known by all as “Uncle Jimmy”. He had served in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his father he is survived by four daughters Monique Young, Beaver Falls, Jasmine Anderson, Savanah, GA, Alaina Weyand, Orem, UT, Annette Thomas, Beaver Falls, six grandchildren, Jaylynn Plum, Trenton Hight Jr., Praise Hight, Tru Hight, Legacy Hight and Janiyah Anderson, two sisters Robin (Paul) Goosby and Reba Thomas, both of Beaver Falls, two brothers, Nathaniel Thomas Jr., Beaver Falls, Vernon Mosely, Milwaukee, WI, one uncle George Love Jr., New Brighton , and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Friday from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton conducted by his family.

Cremation will take place after the service.
