James F. Vukich

James F. Vukich, 84, of New Brighton, passed away at home, Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Born February 1, 1938 in New Brighton a son of the late Paul A. and Rose (Mason) Vukich. He was a peacetime veteran serving with the U.S. Army and retired from Col-Fin Specialty Steel. He was a member of the Rev Masters Car Club, loved going to the drag races and working on cars. He always looked forward to Saturday breakfast with his hot rod buddies. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church and enjoyed golfing (sometimes.)

Survived by his wife of sixty years Kathryn (Debo) Vukich, two sons Craig (Barb) Vukich, Beaver Falls, Chris Vukich, New Brighton, two grandsons A.J. Vukich, Tuttle, OK, Mitchell  Vukich, New Brighton, one granddaughter Shalyn Vukich, Beaver Falls, two sisters Clara (Arlen) Davis , Pasa Robela, CA, Rosemary Vukich, Scotts Valley, CA, sister-in-law Bon Vukich, Beaver Falls, several nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Edwin Vukich.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  Prayers will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Parish, New Brighton.

Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp.
