James E. Watson, 76, of Loganville, GA, formerly of Fallston, passed away Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Eastside Memorial Hospital, Ga.

Born October 18, 1938 in Fallston a son of the late Clarence “Toots” and Kathleen (Murphy) Watson. He was a peacetime veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He was maintenance supervisor working at the former Keystone Bakery, New Brighton Area School District and retired from Corporate Forum. He was a former mayor of Fallston and longtime member of the Fallston Volunteer Fire Department. Jim spent lots of time hunting & fishing, enjoyed watching a good western movie, playing guitar, singing and making people laugh.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years Margaret (Kroskey) Watson, 3 sons Bill Watson, Goodlettsville, TN, Jim (Carol) Watson, Loganville, GA, Tim (Erin) Watson, Fallston, 2 daughters Linda (Terry) Gates, Loganville, GA, Lisa (Brent) Peacock, Fallston, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Bob Watson, Midland, Ken Watson, Beaver Falls, 2 sisters Nancy (Dennis) Gamble, Pinellas Park, FL, Marianne (Bob) Greback, La Habra, CA, many nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Monday from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am with Bishop Dean Nelson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.

Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet Monday at 11:30am in the cemetery to provide military honors.
