Janice R. (Shuler) Douglass, 61, of Center Twp., passed away Thursday September 29, 2016 in North Fayette Twp. in a tragic automobile accident.
Born March 24, 1955 in New Brighton a daughter of the late J.R. and Carrie (Wise) Shuler. She was a retired topographer for the Beaver County Assessment Office in the mapping department. She attended the St. John Burry’s Church, Rochester. Jan enjoyed doing Indian crafts and going to Native American Cherokee gatherings.
Surviving are her husband Charles W. Douglass, whom she married May 13, 1978, one son Charles W. Douglass Jr., and his new bride Lyndsey, who he married today October 2, 2016 in Chicago, one daughter Carrie R. Douglass and her boyfriend Anthony Vucich, Moon Twp., one sister Linda Ann Topper and her son Gregory J. Topper, of Beaver.
Friends will be received Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Thursday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am with the Rev. Robert Singleton officiating.
Interment will follow in Concord Church Cemetery, North Sewickley Twp.
