On July 27, 2016, a beautiful warm summer day, God received an angel in heaven, Jennifer Marie (Fantone) Smith of New Brighton. Jenn was surrounded by her loving family and friends as she peacefully passed on.

Born on January 21, 1972, in Ellwood City, the youngest and only daughter of the late Frank A. Fantone and Rosalie (Mirante) Fantone. Jenn was a graduate of New Brighton High School, Class of 1990. Jenn was the spirited business owner of the successful Pippy's Restaurant of West Aliquippa, where you not only could get an amazing homemade meal, but you were also greeted with Jenn's warm, infectious smile. Those blessed to know Jenn will be forever inspired by her relentless strength, her caring heart, her resilience and her unique ability to find the silver lining in the most impossible of situations.

Surviving Jenn are her loving husband Bryan Smith; his son, Devyn Smith, and the light in Jenn's life, her granddaughter, Peyton Smith. Jennifer is also survived by her three brothers, Vince (Leigh Ann) Fantone of Sarasota, FL, David Fantone of New Brighton, and Kevin (Keya) Fantone of Calcutta, OH; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Alex, Brandi (Sean) Barkey, and great niece, Gia; uncles, Charles Mirante of Ellwood City and Vincent Mirante of Sarasota, FL; her aunt, Claudette (George) Latsko of Delaware, and several cousins and friends.

In addition to Jenn's parents, she was also greeted with open arms in heaven by her maternal grandparents, Jennie and Charles (Guy) Mirante, and paternal grandparents, Theresa and Dominic Fantone

There will be no viewing. Friends will be received Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. In Jennifer's honor, a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. with Pastor James Krouse officiating.
