Jessie Alice (Kulakowski) Leaf
Jessie Alice (Kulakowski) Leaf, 87, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born July 31, 1927 in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Jessie (Leczynski) Kulakowski, she was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post #19 and a past president. Jessie was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton and the C.D. of A. Court #1695.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael "Hunter" and Lori Leaf, Cocoa Beach, FL; one daughter Patti Pintur, Beaver; one granddaughter, Nicole (Jason) Woodrow, Beaver; three grandsons, Ryan E. and Aaron L. Leaf, California, and Levi Leaf, New Brighton; great-granddaughters, Savannah and Bella Woodrow, and Corrina Leaf; great-grandsons, Andrew, Michael and Rocco Leaf; one sister, Valeria "Babe" Wilfong, Tampa, FL; two sisters-in-law, Alice Kulakowski, Beaver Falls, and Francis Leaf, Beaver; a brother-in-law, Donald (Jane) Leaf, Darlington, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Kulakowski, and four sisters, Regina Alachnowicz, Mary Labon-Anderegg, Helen McCowin and Genevieve Carr.
Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy
Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in her name to either the Pheonix Drop In Center, 105 Brighton Ave., Rochester, PA 15074 or Providence Activities Dept., 900 3rd Ave., Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Providence for the excellent care they gave Jessie for the past 11 years.
