Joan D. (Adair) Coe

Joan D. (Adair) Coe, 84, of Freedom, passed away Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Northview Estates Nursing Center, Ellwood City.

Born November 28, 1936 in Freedom a daughter of the late William and Erma (Franz) Adair. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Freedom and was a former Girl Scout leader. Joan enjoyed doing family genealogy research, ceramics, and baking.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Coe in 2020 and one infant granddaughter Emma Skuse.

Survived by one daughter Cari A. (Mark) Skuse, New Sewickley Twp., one son Timothy M. (fiancée Jodi) Coe, North Sewickley Twp., five grandchildren Carrick, Cole, Cade, Samuel and Jackson, Jodi’s children Jacob, Hailey, Gavin, Connor and Liam, one sister Carole Alberts, New Sewickley Twp. Several nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. Matthew Bupp, officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.

The family would like to especially thank the kind and compassionate staff of Northview Estates, as well as Billie from Allegheny Health Network Hospice.

In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Center Twp., PA 15001.
