Job Cook "Tunney" Beitsch Jr., 90, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born June 10, 1926, in New Brighton, a son of the late Job Cook Sr. and Marelda (McKenzie) Beitsch, he was retired from Conrail with 31 years of service, last working as a signal maintainer test man.
Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Gloris (Adkins) Beitsch; one son, Robert (Patty) Beitsch, Ellwood City; two daughters, Mary Jane (Rob) Dyson, Beaver Falls, and Eileen (Burt) Garmen, New Brighton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Amber Richards, Sadie House and Kathy House, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Harry and Roy Beitsch, and three sisters, Evelyn Debo, Martha Grimm and Mabel Derflinger.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Bailey officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
