John W. Musgrave
John W. Musgrave, 89, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away peacefully Sunday, May 6, 2012, surrounded by his family.
Born November 17, 1922, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Everett, Sr. and Ella (Roll) Musgrave. John served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Freedom American Legion, Post 0348, an associate member of Central Methodist Church, Beaver Falls, attended Riverview United Methodist, Beaver Falls, and was a retired contractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Everett, and two sisters, Margaret Louise and Dorothy Zahn.
Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Vivian (Huntington) Musgrave; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Musgrave, and Gregory and Bonnie (McKenny) Musgrave; one grandson, Jeffrey Musgrave and his fiancee Amanda Rupnik; a brother, Frank Musgrave; a sister-in-law and her husband, Sharlaine and Robert Weir, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew, and two great goddaughters.
Per John's wishes, there will be no visitation and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
