Joseph F. Librich

Joseph F. Librich, 74, of New Brighton, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Beaver Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born November 16, 1940 in Fallston, a son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Spear) Librich, Joe had worked as a furnace charger at the former Correct Foundry of Fallston. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, U.C.C., F.O.E. #1342, Oak Hill Vets, and American Legion Post #19, all of New Brighton. Joe was a longtime coach for the Post #19 baseball and the New Brighton midget program.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Surviving are many cousins.

Friends will be received Monday from 10 a.m. until time of blessing service at 12 noon in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in his name to the funeral home for funeral and grave marker expenses.
