Joseph S. Sullivan

Joseph J. Sullivan, 70, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his home.

Born November 3, 1951, he is the son of the late George J. and Marie (Hagg) Sullivan.  Joseph enjoyed 20 years in Erie, Pa with his wife enjoying sunsets, the beach, camp fires and good friends.  He was a proud member of the New Brighton Eagles where he held various positions, prepared many dinners, and was an elf with his wife for Santa.  He was also a member of Post 19, American Legion, New Brighton and was retired from New Brighton School District where he was a custodian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George “Skip” Sullivan.

Surviving is his loving wife, Patricia (Shirey) Sullivan, a son, Brian J. Sullivan, Butler; daughter, Amy Marie (Ian) Greene, and his wonderful grandson Brody Greene; two step daughters, Leigh Anne Householder and her husband Craig Dieckhoner, Columbus, OH; Laura Beth Householder and her partner Jake Wentland, Dunmore, PA; sisters, Sandra (John) Black, OH; Rose Marie (Jeff) Circle, Indiana, many nieces, nephews and their families.

Joseph wanted a hell of a wake at the New Brighton Eagles, so join the family and raise a glass and share memories on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the New Brighton Eagles, 900 8th Ave, New Brighton, Pa.
