Joseph M. Sutej

Joseph M. Sutej New Brighton Joseph M. Sutej, 75, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born April 4, 1945, in Lawrenceville, a son of the late Matthew and Joanne (Malovich) Sutej. He retired from the Bayer Corp. He enjoyed wine collecting and Penguin hockey. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Rochester. Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Hartwick) Busch-Sutej; a son, David (Emily) Busch, New Brighton and a daughter, Megan (Scott) Walton, Versailles, Ky.; four grandchildren, Angela Busch, Levi Walton, Isaac Walton, Bruce Walton and Jessica Walton; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Klein. Friends will be received Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Rochester. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made in his name to San Lorenzo Seminary, 1802 Sky Dr., Santa Ynez, CA 93460.
