Josephine (Wilson) Odum

Josephine Odum, 90, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Sunday December 22, 2019, at the Baldwin Health Center in Pittsburgh.

Born January 15, 1929, in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late James and Myrtle (Allen) Wilson.  She was a former devoted member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E.  She was known for her fashion and loved frogs.

She is survived by her devoted niece, Karen Kelly, Pittsburgh, several other nieces, nephews and their families.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luther Odum, sister, Fannie Lee Bell, and brothers, Joseph Wilson, and William Lewis Underwood.

Friends will be received Saturday from 10 until the time of service at noon, officiated by Rev. Samuel Chambers, in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave. New Brighton, PA 15066.

Private interment at Grove Cemetery, will follow the service.
