Kathryn E. (Bellan) McCutcheon, 99, of Fallston, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Trinity Oaks Care Center in Brighton Twp.

Born April 26, 1917, in Fallston, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Ruth (Sutton) Bellan. Kate was a great cook, baker and was well known for her wonderful personality. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of New Brighton, where she had been very active throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. McCutcheon, on August 28, 1982.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Bonnie McCutcheon, New Brighton, and David and Karen McCutcheon, Chippewa Twp.; six grandchildren, Kim (Randy) Alexander, Mike (Wendy) McCutcheon, Tim (Kathy) McCutcheon, David (Jeannine) McCutcheon, Lee (Dawn) McCutcheon and Bryce McCutcheon; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Friends will be received Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Third Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. Bob Goossen and Rev. John Dickey officiating.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made, in her name, to the First Presbyterian Church, 1199 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066 or the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA 15061.
