Kay M. (White) Myer, 91, of Carnegie, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Kane Hospital, Scott Twp.

Born July 8, 1924, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Regis and Catherine (Goedecker) White, she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers, C.D. of A. #1695 and Holy Family Gold. Kay also served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught C.C.D. for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. "Bill" Myer, on April 3, 2011; her son, Charles K. Myer, on September 26, 1999; her daughter, Paula Ann Legros, on November 23, 2015, and three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Phillip White.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joseph Franc, Carnegie; six grandchildren, Yvonne (Harry) Hoffmaster, David (Teresa) Legros, Lisa (Tim) Postelwait, Kenneth (Michelle) Legros, Diana (Thomas) Membrila and Tori (Skip) Leezer; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and John Gudzan, Conway, and several nieces, nephews and their families.

There will be no public visitation.

Family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian burial Monday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in her name to the Beaver County Cancer & Heart Association, 3582 Brodhead Rd., Suite 201, Monaca, PA 15061.
