Kenneth J. Housholder, 88, of Daugherty Twp., died Monday, January 23, 2012, at home.
Born March 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Amos and Esther (Flinner) Housholder.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Grace (Goehring) Housholder; his children, Margery (Barry) Sumner, Steacy (Karen) Housholder, Larry (Deborah) Housholder, Timothy Housholder, and Amy (Matthew) Tomaszewski; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Wilson; two brothers, John Housholder and Richard (Delores) Housholder, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Housholder.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, Pa. 15066, www.jjsprattfh.com. Additional viewing will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1001 Tenth Ave., New Brighton, Pa. 15066.
Private interment will follow at Burry's Church Cemetery, New Sewickley Twp.
