Kitty Lee (Hughes) Dixon

Kitty Lee (Hughes) Dixon, 77, of New Brighton, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at Providence Health Care Center, Beaver Falls.

Born August 26, 1935, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl (Davis) Hughes. She had worked as a bookkeeper for the former Reeves Bank and was a crossing guard on Oak Hill for many years. She attended the Church of the Nazarene of New
Brighton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale E. Dixon, in 1995; one sister, Karen Sue Croft, and an aunt, Sylvia Davis.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Carolyn Dixon of  New Brighton; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Edward Cain of Ambridge; three grandchildren, Julie (Keith) Moser, Keri Funa and Jamie Hartman; one great-grandson, Jonathan "Jack" Hartman, and second great-grandson, baby boy Moser, expected in May; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Kalbaugh of Beaver Falls and Wyanetta Dixon of New Brighton; a brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Craft of Patterson Twp.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Donald W. MacNeil  officiating.

Private interment will follow in Concord Church Cemetery, North Sewickley Twp.
