Lindsey P. Altvatter
Lindsey P. Altvatter, 64, of New Brighton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home.
Born April 9, 1950 in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Louis P. and Erda (Mawhinney) Altvatter. Lindsey was a retired car man for Norfolk & Southern railroad where he proudly worked for 37 years. He was a member of the Conway Croatian Club and Lutheran by faith

Surviving are his wife, Katheryn "Meg" (Csuy) Altvatter; two sons, Andy Altvatter and Autumn Stubbs, Freedom and Aaron and his wife Kristy, New Sewickley Twp.; five grandchildren Kylie, Carter, Kailah, Katie and Candis; a special cousin who was like his brother, Steve and his wife Sue Chelak, Conway, and many more relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Loraine Withmiller and Linda Altvatter.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with pastor Wilford Goetze officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
