Lois K (Mcdaniels) Reed

September 25, 1950 — November 6, 2024

Lois K. Reed left this earthly world Wednesday, November 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 25, 1950, Selbyville, WV to the late Jimmie and Wilma Jean (Page) McDaniels. Lois was retired from Co Go’s in East Rochester.  She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and could often be found listening to his music, tapping her feet to his timeless tunes. She also had a special place in her heart for I Love Lucy, finding joy and laughter. Those who knew Lois will fondly remember her infectious sense of humor and the way she could bring light and laughter into any room.

Lois’s life was marked by her incredible work ethic and her ability to balance raising a family while giving her all to those around her. She never hesitated to help others, and her selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Weil.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Christopher) Weil, of Economy. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Larry (Wilda) McDaniels, New Brighton, sisters; Betty (Jerry) Stockman, North Sewickley, Vickie (Doug) Adams, New Brighton; grandson, ITC Cody (Miranda) Weil, Suffolk, VA., great grandchildren, Cole, Addison and Daniel; a dear uncle William “Tuck” (Norma Jean) Page, of Buckhannon, WV; nieces, Lori, Geri Lynn and Alexis; nephews, Adam, Micah, and Matthias; great nieces, Janna, Joci, Emma Grace, Ava, Audra, Olivia and great nephews, Keith, Joey,  Jonny, Bub (aka Fat Rat to his Aunt Lois), Matthias Jr., Roman, Cayson; great great nephew, Jaxson, and numerous cousins, her best friend and “sister” of over 57 years, Patty (Bob) Weber and Darlas Zink who she referred to lovingly as her “other daughter.”
