Lois Ann Venn

Lois A. Venn (Douds) formerly of Rochester left this life on Feb. 23, 2024, after an extended illness.  Lois was the daughter of the late William Douds and Anna Kunder (Webber). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years John F. Venn Sr. and brothers Donnie, Bill, Bob and Earl (Douds).

She is survived by five children, John (Carolyn) Venn, Carol (Bernie) Welsh, Aaron (Linda) Venn, Mimi (Mark) Rusnak and Mary (Dave) Bertko. Four grandchildren Lucas Venn, Tori (Zack) Johnston, Christopher Venn and Katie Matthias, four great grandchildren Ava, Maylene, Urijah and Rayland that she adored, one sister Denise Houser and one very special friend and sister-in-law Joan that she would go to lunch with every Tuesday. Lois is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.  Additional viewing will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the funeral Home.  Pastor Gary Hilton, officiating.
