Loretta (Debo) 'Aunt Babe' Martin

Loretta (Debo) "Aunt Babe" Martin, 88, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.
Born June 13, 1928, in New Brighton, a daughter of Michael and Frances (Chwala) Debo. She retired as a supervisor for the former Mayer China of Beaver Falls in 1984. She was a current member of Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton, but had spent many years at the former Polish parish Holy Trinity in Beaver Falls. She was active with her friends doing water aerobics at the YMCA and had volunteered many years with the Women's Auxiliary at the former Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martin in 1979; three brothers, John, Walter and Mike Debo; four sisters, Mary Makowski, Stella Debo, Helen Drapinski, and Ann Rankin and great-nephew, John Ball.
Surviving are one sister, Rose Hrabica, Henderson, Nev.; a nephew, who was like a son to her, David Debo; niece, Donna (Jim) Mittica and great- niece, Sharon Glaab, who all helped in her in her later years; numerous more nieces, nephews and their families, lifetime friends, Sandy (Ralph) Hegner, Kathy (Gary) Pavlinich, and Joyce Tomsic and her beloved canine companion "Boomer".
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Inurnment will take place later in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
