Lulu K. Zimmerman, 97, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born June 11, 1914 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Rose E. (Keck) Zimmerman. Lulu was a retired school teacher from New Brighton School District. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Women's Club, both of New Brighton, and the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, Pa. 15066, www.jjsprattfh.com. Pastor Wilfred Goetze, of Passavant Retirement Community, will officiate.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills, Daugherty Twp.
