Margaret N. Ruby, 53, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Kindred Hospital, Beaver.
Born November 5, 1959, in Beaver Falls, she is the daughter of the late Marshall E. and Muriel (Corbin) Farris. Margaret enjoyed reading books, crafts, gardening, playing with her grandchildren, and she was an avid Harry Potter enthusiast.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marshall "Butch", Harold R., and Brian L. Farris.
Surviving are a son, Andy Heaton, New Castle; two brothers, Roger (Margaret) Farris, Lakeland, FL; Kenneth (Melody) Farris, Colonial Heights, VA; a sister, Marie (Blaine) VanEvera, New Brighton; four grandchildren, Amber, Andrew Jr., Abel, and Alexis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
A memorial visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com
