Marie E. (Gray) Kroskey

Marie E. Kroskey, 90, of Daugherty Twp., died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born August 27, 1921, in Kittanning, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Annabell (Starr) Gray. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton.

Surviving are her husband of 65years, Edmund Kroskey; five sons and three daughters-in-law, John and Susan Kroskey, Freedom; Robert and Linda Kroskey, New Brighton; Larry Kroskey, at home; Keith and Donna Kroskey, Beaver Falls, and Sam Kroskey, Columbus, OH; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Donald Kroskey, in January 1999; three brothers, and four sisters.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
