Mary Cunning

Mary F Cunning, 95, of Rochester passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Rochester Manor

Born May 31, 1926, in Center Township, PA she is the last survivor of nine siblings to the late Dan and Antoinnette (D’Alessandro) Alexander Italian immigrants from Pacentro, L’Aquila in Abruzzo Italy.  Mary was proud that she was a long-time foster grandmother at McGuire Memorial for over 15 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Cunning; a son Dr. Terry Lee Cunning; daughter, Annette “Dolly” Cunning; and a grandson, Dr Christopher Lee Cunning.

Surviving is a son Donald (Debra) Cunning, Old Bridge, New Jersey; two daughters, Georgia Beckwith, Florida: Judy Cunning, Wyoming; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Rochester Manor and Gateway hospice for the excellent care provided. There will be no services and she will be interred at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Daugherty Township.
