Mary Ann (Swasta) Harding
Mary Ann (Swasta) Harding, 78, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Born May 8, 1936 in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Catherine (Bross) Swasta. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and homemaker. She attended the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Edwin L. Harding; two sisters, Kathy Bobin, New Brighton, and Cecilia and her husband David Kellogg, New Galilee; one brother, Joseph and his wife Leslie Swasta, Center Twp.; a brother-in-law, Sam Cardosi, New Brighton; Sandy Gacesa and Mona Garibell, who were like daughters to her, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Deborah L. Harding, on April 4, 2001; one sister, Dorothy Cardosi, and one brother-in-law, Anthony Bobin.
Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frank Kantz officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
