Mary Ann Himes

Mary Ann Himes, 81, of Darlington passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, a West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born April 3, 1945, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Jack Dellefate and Mildred (Polvonia) Bertram. Mary Ann was Catholic by faith. She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. She bred and raised basset hounds, enjoyed to cook, had a strong sense of community, and was passionate about her yard and landscaping.

Surviving Mary Ann is her son, John (Maggie) Himes, grandchildren, Aislynn and Madison Himes, sister, Cathy (Jim) Price and her children, Chuck Bair and Tanya Price.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harry E. “Dimmy” Himes, her brothers, Michael and Kenny Dellefate.

A private Blessing Service will be held.

Private burial will be conducted at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
