MaryAnn (Kampi) Schwarz, 66, of Rochester, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Heritage Valley Beaver, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 26, 1948 in Rochester, a daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Conrad) Kampi. MaryAnn had worked at the former Armco Steel Co., Snowy White Laundry and Family Dollar, both in New Brighton. She also was a bartender at several local clubs and bars over the years and was a member of the U.C.C. of New Brighton.
Surviving are her beloved companion of 28 years, John 'Yonk' Bojanic; loving children: daughter, Rhonda and her husband, Tim McKelvey, New Sewickley Twp.; son, John 'Bubba' and his wife, Dawn Schwarz, Darlington; three cherished grandsons, Steven Bitcko IV, Hunter Schwarz and Timothy McKelvey; two sisters, Barbara (Terry) Majercsik, New Brighton; Kathleen (Tom) Whaling, Rochester; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dominic and Anna Conrad; two brothers-in-law, William Marjercsik and Steven Whaling.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gregory Clagg, officiating.
At her request, cremation will follow with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom.
