Mary L. Thomas

Mary L. Thomas, 88, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Industry, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.

Born October 21, 1930, in Rochester, she is the daughter of the late Wilbur and Jessie (Blankenbicker) Gabele. Mary attended New Hope Lutheran Church, Economy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard K. Thomas; two brothers, George Gabele and Homer Portman and a sister, Jean Engelman.

Surviving are a son, David (Rose) Thomas, Beaver Falls; two daughters, Judy (Clarence) Herstine, Economy and Cecely (Tom) Llewellyn, Industry; six grandchildren, Erin, Seth, Rachel (Howard), Jessica (Jesse), Stephanie (Luke) and Frankie (Latricia); eleven great grandchildren, and one on the way; a brother, John (Pat) Gabele, East Palestine, Ohio.; numerous nieces, nephews and their families and a special friend, Betty Shanahan.

Private family services will be held at J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
