Michael J. Baker, 57, of Kissimmee, FL, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his home.
Born February 24, 1956 in Battlecreek, MI, he was a son of Eleanor (Brooks) Baker of Louisville, KY, and the late Jackie Lee Baker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve with 24 years service. He was an electrician and currently working in Kissimmee. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed riding his scooter.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his companion of 30 years, Bridget (Brickner) Coburn; her children, Joseph Coburn and Richard Coburn; grandchildren, Elijah, Faith, Halee and Richard Coburn Jr., all of New Brighton; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Michele Baker, Louisville; one niece and her fiancé Katelyn Baker and Isaiah Middleton; one nephew and his companion, Jared Baker and Katie Brewer, and one great nephew, Kaiden Middleton, all of Louisville.
Friends will be received Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 4 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with Pastor Bill Blume, of Faith to Faith Ministries, officiating.
Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the funeral home Saturday at 3:30 p.m. to provide military honors.
