Michael Hrotic

Michael Hrotic, 76, of Patterson Twp., formerly of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday March 22, 2022 at his home.

Born February 14, 1946 in Beaver Falls a son of the late Michael and Rose (Terek) Hrotic. Mike was a former troop leader for the boy scouts. He was a very active member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and had taught CCD for many years. He was the property manager for the Patterson Arms Condominiums in Patterson Twp. Mike was also an avid woodworker and a supporter of Five Rivers Bobbin and Lace Makers.

Survived by his wife of 52 years Mary (Wilcox) Hrotic, one son Steven M. Hrotic, Phd, and his wife Christine Hrotic, and one grandson Dmitri M. Hrotic, Burlington, Vermont, one sister Donna (Carl) Hertzler, Suffolk, VA, sister-in-law Donna Wilcox, brothers-in-law Tom Wilcox, John (Michelle) Wilcox, David Wilcox, numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by two sisters Rose Marie Bittner and Martha Presecan, one brother-in-law Don Wilcox.

There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to share in his Mass of Christian burial Friday at 1:00pm in Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.

Private entombment will take place in Beaver Cemetery.
