Michael 'Mick' J. Adams

Michael "Mick" J. Adams, 42, of Freedom, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his home from heart disease.
Born in New Brighton on September 27, 1972, he was a son of Michael A. (Donna) Adams of Baden and Diane (Jaskiewicz) Havey of New Brighton. Mick was the Head Chef for McFadden's Sport's Bar on the North Shore, Pittsburgh. He was an avid Steelers and sports fan. He loved going to the beach with his family, friends and watching horror movies.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary Jaskiewicz, New Brighton; his companion, Rachel Herzik, Freedom; his daughter, Samantha Adams and her fiancé Nathan Harr, and Micks' granddaughter, Sage Harr, all of Ambridge; his two sons, Brett and Bradley Adams, Freedom; four sisters, Dana Havey, Wayne, NJ; Elizabeth Havey, Bloomington, IN; Andrea Havey, Bedford, PA, and Jamie (Jon) Philippou, Farmingdale, NJ; Godmother, Theresa (Robert) Wadding, Aliquippa; Godfather, John (Max) DeSanzo, Broken Arrow, OK; many cousins, especially Mark (Beth) Harper, who was one of his best friends; best friend, Jeremy Hunter, and many aunts, uncles and their families.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton, with Rev. Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Inurnment will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
