Mildred J. Roush

Mildred (Mid) June Roush, 91, of Beaver, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Cambridge Village in Patterson Township.

Born May 4, 1931, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of Dwight R. and Anna May (McMichael) Roush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Jean (Roush) Spencer and longtime friend, Ralph DeMerle Snyder, Jr.

Mid was beloved by her four nieces, Nancy Freshcorn, Janice Spencer, Ruthanne (Martin) Kronk, and K. Ember Spencer. Mid had six great nephews and nieces: Jeremy Freshcorn, Matthew Kronk, Timothy (Beth) Kronk, Christina (David) Johnson, Abigail (Ian) Aschenbrenner, and Thomas Paraniuk, and several great-great-nephews. She is also survived by her dear friends, Jean, Nancy, and Michelle.

Mid was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church in New Brighton, then in her later years was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver. She was a Medical Assistant for many years and in retirement worked at Boscov’s. She enjoyed staying active and still met with High School Classmates and other friends. She enjoyed researching genealogy and collecting salt cellars and chickens.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave., Beaver.
