Naomi R. (Garvin) Turzan

Naomi R. (Garvin) Turzan, 92, of Patterson Twp., passed away Monday October 11, 2021 at Cambridge Village, Patterson Twp.

Born December 30, 1928 in Aliquippa a daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Salaz) Garvin. She was retired from the Westinghouse Electric Corp. After retirement she obtained her real estate license and worked for several area companies for 20 years. Naomi loved volunteering for the New Brighton United Missions flea market, gardening and riding her lawn mower on her 2 1/2 acres.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Turzan in June 2006, one great grandson Devin T. (Graham) Mammone in January 2020 and one sister Doris Jean Nicholson in September 2020.

Survived by her daughter Janice Graham Engel, Patterson Twp., grandson Matthew J. (Miranda) Graham, two great grandsons Chase and Dash Graham, all of New Brighton, sister Roberta “Betty” (Robert) Hall, Wheaton, IL, several nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Monday from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton with the Rev. Gary Hilton officiating.

Private family entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Rochester.

The family wish to give special thanks to the Heart & Vascular Center, Dr. Patel, Aspire, Advanced Home Health, Vitas Hospice and the girls from Cambridge Village.

In lieu of flowers the family wish memorial be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Broadhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
