Nathan Elko Jr.

Nathan Elko Jr., 64, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday August 26, 2021 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born May 9, 1957 in Brownsville, PA a son of Bernie Elko Hawthorne of New Brighton and the late Nathan Elko Sr. Nathan was an avid hunter and fisherman, also liked to attend turkey shoots. He enjoyed playing pool with family and friends. He and his family had very close loving relationship.

Surviving in addition to his mother. Bernie, are his son Nathan Daniel Elko III (Loni) and his two children, sisters Cindy (John) Pickard, Rochester Twp., Tammy (Brad) McElravy, New Brighton, brother Terry (Janet) Elko, Columbiana, OH, his step mother Susan Elko, brother Cory (Dawn) Elko and sister Rene’ Elko, all of Springhill FL, many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews, friends and beloved dog Max.

In addition to father Nathan Sr., he was preceded in death by his stepfather Donald Hawthorne.

A celebration of Nathan’s life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.

Cremation service entrusted to the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, New Brighton.
