Nick M. Librich

Nick M. Librich, 95, of Brighton Twp., passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home.

Born April 17, 1918, in Fallston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Yanosich) Librich. He was a veteran of World War II having served as a corporal with the U.S. Army. He was retired from Damascus Steel of New Brighton and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Louise (Hodnick) Librich; one daughter, Pauline Curtis, New Cumberland, WV; two sons and their wives, Michael and Kathy Librich and Nicholas and Dawn Librich, all of Brighton Twp.; four grandchildren, Melissa and Christine Curtis, Jarad and his wife Rosemary Librich, and Jeffrey Librich; one great-grandson, Ethan Librich, and one nephew, Joseph Librich, New Brighton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Librich.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where prayer will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
