Norma Marie (Young) Anderson, 88, of New Brighton, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her home.
Born April 10, 1926 in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Charles Ralph and Marie (Johnson) Young, she was a member of the First Assembly of God, Beaver Falls, and had been attending the Free Methodist Church of New Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Dean Anderson, in 1989; two brothers, Charles E. Young and David A. Young, and a sister-in-law, Berdina Slack.
Surviving are one son, Leo Anderson, New Brighton; one daughter, Joan M. (David) Clark; one granddaughter, Stephanie Clark; one grandson, Joshua Clark, and one great-granddaughter, Christina, all of Jacksonville, FL, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Joshua Mackenstein officiating.
Private interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be made in her name to the Free Methodist Roofing Fund, c/o 925 11th St., New Brighton, PA 15066.
