Olga T. (Syrko) Steed, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday March 16, 2017 at Seneca Place, Verona.
Born in Aliquippa a daughter of the late Anthony and Eva Syrko. She was a retired secretary for the former B&W Tubular Steel Co. and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of New Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Steed Sr., June 23, 1990, three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are her son David L. Steed Jr. M.D. and his wife Linda of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren and their spouse David M. (Sherry) Steed, Daniel P. (Stephanie) Steed, Laura Steed (Scott) Morley, Lisa Steed (Thomas) Dorman, nine great grandchildren, one sister Ann Batz, NC, several loving nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received today from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton where prayer will be held Monday at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am in the Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Tom Kredel officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers the wish that memorials be made in her name to McGuire Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 48, New Brighton, PA 15066
